Kirra has been coaching young volleyball athletes for several years. Her love for playing the game is contagious and is a great example for the girls she has had the opportunity to coach.
"I love coaching because getting to meet young girls and influence them in a positive way is such a blessing. Being someone who has gone through the whole club volleyball experience and then college I have many valuable lessons and key skills to know what it takes for an athlete to succeed. My top priority as both an athlete and a coach is to always have fun. The reason we all started to play volleyball is because we enjoy the sport and as long as the fun and enjoyment is always there the skills will come with intention and effort."
Kirra has been playing volleyball for 15 years and was also a track athlete throughout high school. She graduated from San Clemente High School in 2019 after she accomplished all of the following.
Kirra played for Prime for 2 seasons and was a part of the 18 adidas squad for both of those years. Kirra played with several other Prime coaches who were part of those teams including, Michelle Feliciano, Kennedy Lim, Aly Fulbright, and Julia Wilson. After completing club volleyball, Kirra went on to play for Gonzaga for 1 season before transferring to Concordia University Irvine where she
has been a starting outside hitter for the Golden Eagles. Kirra has earned many titles including, Pac-West Defender of the week, Pac-West Player of the Week, and First Team All-PacWest. Kirra is currently returning to CUI for her fifth year.
Kirra has been coaching for 4 years and has been coaching at Prime for 3 years.
