COACHES

Prime takes the responsibility of selecting our coaches very seriously. Research has shown that coaches are the 2nd biggest influence in a young person’s life, behind their parents. We only select coaches who have a high level of both volleyball and coaching knowledge, and whom we feel are positive role models, mentors, and teachers for Prime VC athletes.

Our Prime VC Coaching Staff has over 300 years of collective coaching experience! Prime is lucky to have one of the most highly qualified and experienced club volleyball coaching staffs in the Nation!

Our Prime VC staff includes our Director of Training Ron Larsen who served as full time Olympic/National Team Assistant Coaches for multiple Olympic Games and currently assists the USA Men part time, our Club Director Jess Papell who is currently coaching with the USA Volleyball National Team Development Program and has for over a decade, 5 coaches with collegiate coaching experience, 5 Coaches with Professional Playing or Coaching experience, 12 coaches who are current or past Varsity Head Coaches, and 22 coaches with collegiate playing experience.

Every Prime Team has at least one full time assistant coach (often current or recent collegiate athletes who serve as outstanding role models)
