🚨COACHING ANNOUNCEMENT🚨 We’re excited to have Alisa Gavva lead our 14 Blue team this season! Alisa has been coaching for 5 years and has coached at Thundercats Volleyball and Storm Volleyball in Canada! She played at Storm Volleyball for 11 years where she and her team won 2 provincial titles and 1 national title. Alisa was a Varsity captain for her high school team. From 2018-2020 she played on the Ontario provincial volleyball team as a libero! As a college athlete, Alisa played at Toronto Metropolitan University as a libero and setter and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Child and Youth Care. Previously she has coached our 17 adidas and 12 adidas squads. She has also been the Head Frosh/Soph coach at Crean Lutheran High School where she led her team to league title two years in a row! Kendall played for 11 years. During her time at Santa Margarita Catholic High School she and her team won CIF. She also played indoor volleyball at Saddleback College and was named All-Conference. She also played beach volleyball at Irvine Valley College where her team took 3rd in State and her and her partner were named All Conference. Kendall then transferred to the University of Portland where she played beach volleyball and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. Bea Loper will lead our 12 Molten squad this season! Bea joins the Prime Fam this year with several years of coaching experience. She played three years on Varsity at Trabuco Hills under Coach Moot and led the Mustangs to the CIF playoffs in 2008, 2009, and 2010. Also earned All Orange County Volleyball Team in 2011. She was the first THHS volleyball player to receive a full ride D1 volleyball scholarship and played for 4 years at the University of Portland and ranked 7th all time in blocks per set in University of Portland history. She was a 2011 USAV Junior Girls’ Nationals All-Tournament Team Member after a second place finish at 2011 USAV National Championships with her team. Bea has multiple podium finishes at Volleyball Festival (1st in 2009 and 2nd in 2010) and has coached multiple UP Volleyball camps for 4th-12th grade girls. Brandon has coached with the USA Women’s National Team including traveling to the NORCECA Championships with team USA. Brandon also spent this last season as an Assistant Coach for the San Diego Mojo in the Pro Volleyball Federation. He has over a decade of nationally competitive club and varsity head coaching experience with both boys and girls programs. He is also a current assistant coach with the Irvine Valley College Women’s Team and previously assisted the Men’s Team. Brandon has spent multiple seasons competing professionally in the VLA with Rising Tide and in the NVA. 🚨COACHING ANNOUNCEMENT🚨 Darlene Staker and Kaylee Staker return for our 14 Molten squad! Darlene returns for her 5th season coaching at Prime. She played Varsity volleyball for Kennedy HS where her team won league and took 3rd in CIF. Her senior year, she spent her time at San Marcos HS where she made the all-league team, led her team to league champions, and placed 3rd in CIF. Darlene played for Palomar College before transferring to CSU Fresno her sophomore year and earned a full-ride scholarship. Darlene was a AAA rated beach player and competed in the Women’s Professional Volleyball Association (WVPA) now known as the AVP. Kaylee has been coaching our Prime camps and clinics for five years and we’re excited to have her working with our 14 Molten and 16 adidas Grey teams this year!  She competed for the LSU club volleyball team while earning her degree and played at the varsity and club level before that. Previous to earning her Masters in Coaching at Concordia Michelle competed for the University of Denver for 4 seasons and earned her Bachelors in Biology. FUN FACT: Michelle is the only person in our Prime Fam to win medals at USAV National Qualifiers as both a player and a coach! 🚨COACHING ANNOUNCEMENT🚨 Christy Stoeckel returns for her 8th season at Prime and will be leading our 18 adidas squad this season! Christy is our recruiting coordinator and works tirelessly to counsel our athletes through the recruiting process and promote Prime players among our vast network of college coaches. Over the last 6 seasons she has helped EVERY Prime athlete with the goal of playing at the next level find their college home. Christy most recently won back to back gold medals at USAV National Qualifiers in 2023 and 2024 with our 15 adidas Orange squads! In addition Christy won a gold medal in the American division at Junior National Championships where 3 of her players were named All-Americans and one was selected as tournament MVP! Christy has been coaching at the club and high school level for 28 years and it's looking forward to sharing her experience and knowledge with our 18 adidas squad. As an athlete Christy played at Laguna Hills High School where she set records for most kills, blocks and aces in a game, season, and career. She was also a 3 time All League honoree and selected to play in the Orange County All star game as a senior. Christy was named to the Volleyball Magazine Fab 50 meaning she was one of the top 50 recruits in the Nation. She went on to compete for the Oregon State Beavers for 4 seasons. Rich’s teams have consistently earned medal winning finishes and he has coached countless athletes who have gone on to successful collegiate careers. He’s had enormous success over the past 24 years coaching both girls and boys at the club and varsity levels. As an athlete Rich won two State Championships at Long Beach City College and then at Cal Baptist where his squad won a National Championship in 2007. She is currently a lead coach for Gold Medal Squared where she travels around the country to provide high level training for both coaches and teams at the high school and club level. Most recently she was an assistant coach for the Concordia Eagles where she worked the the team’s setters and offense. Kim’s constant focus is her athletes’ growth as volleyball players, teammates, and people. She creates a positive learning environment where she can share her love of our sport with her teams. In previous seasons Jess has coached 4 Prime squads to gold medal finishes at USAV National Qualifiers and has had 6 different Prime teams earn bids to GJNCs while Ron has led 3 of his Prime squads to podium finishes at National Qualifiers. Ron was a full time assistant coach with our USA Men's team for 8 years during which they won an Olympic Gold Medal in the 2008 Beijing Games and has over 20 years of collegiate coaching experience. Jess is the Club Director at Prime and is the head coach at San Juan Hills HS where she's led the Stallions to 4 South Coast League Championships. She's also coached USA Volleyball's NTDP program for over a decade.
